He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arleigh Hicks, Sr. and Maggie Rivers Hicks; his daughter Rebecca "Becky"; his son-in-law Larry Rains; and his siblings, Arleigh Hicks, Melvin Hicks and Janice Knapp.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Rozas Hicks; his children, Pam Anders (Gary) and Wayne Hicks (Betty); his grandchildren, Amber Rains Perry (Jimmy), Tyler Anders, Tanner Anders (Renay) and Ryleigh Hicks; his great grandchildren, Travis and Trent Anders; and his siblings, Ann Hicks Partington and Sherman Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to First Baptist Church of Leesville.
