With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willis Kelly of Leesville, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on March 24, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Celeste Green; his parents, Meretha Fusilier Kelly and Jean Promas Kelly; his siblings, Doretha Turner, Joann Small, Michael Kelly, Gene Kelly (Mickey) and Stanley Kelly; and his brother-in-law Raymond Cormier.
He is survived by: his nephew David (DJ); his siblings, Sylvia Kelly Cormier of Kaplan, Wandy Kelly of Monroe, Ann Stevenson (Kenneth) of Lake Charles and Chris Kelly (Adlene) of Maurice; and his daughter Tera Mouton of Kaplan. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
During the pandemic, when DJ had to learn online, Willis instantly became "Mr. Uncle Willis (teacher).".
