She was predeceased by : her parents, Horace Baxley and Louise Baxley; and her brother Horace Howard Baxley. She is survived by : her husband Randy Bates of Lena; her children, James Bates of Alexandria and Jennifer Bates-Knighton (Travis) of Lena; and her grandchildren, William Bowlin, Serenity Bates, Conner Bates, Jeremiah Bates and Gavin Nida. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
