It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Lindell Sharp Sr. of Lena, Louisiana, who passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his son Joseph L. Sharp, Jr.; and his parents, William Sharp and Fannie Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sharp of Boyce; and his daughters, Rhonda Sue Sharp Powell (Percy) of Stanardsville and Gayla Annette Sharp Knight (Bruce) of Lena. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, family members, and friends.
