He was predeceased by: his brothers, Lionel, Doyle and Todd Doughty; his grandparents, Eva Allen Doughty, Augustus and Lillie Covington DeLee; his parents-in-law, Clifford and Geraldine Battles; and his sister-in-law Glenda B. Booth.
He is survived by: his wife June Battles Doughty; his children, Kimberly Doughty, Michael Doughty (Lindsey) and Chris Davis (Misty); his grandchildren, Everleigh Doughty, Alex Davis, Christopher Davis, Brittany Cutrer, Baylor Cutrer (Baileigh) and John Tyler Travis (Lainey); his great grandchildren, Owen, Eden and Ellie Cutrer; his aunt Mavis DeLee Sharp; his brother Clay Doughty; his siblings-in-law, Judy Smith (Larry), Robert Battles Margie (Mary) and Linda Reynolds; and his aunts and uncles, Minnie Abrams, Hazel Hurst, Marie Kendrick, Collean Hanks, Lillie Harvey, Bonnie Eckart, Archie DeLee, Willie DeLee and Elvis Arnold Delee. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
