We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2026, at the age of 87, Robert Lewis of Livingston, Louisiana, born in Morton, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peek Lewis and Nell Lewis; his daughter Penny Lewis Dearing; and his brother-in-law Roy Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Lewis; his children, Robin Lewis (Barry), Elise White (Richard), Chris Lewis (Peggy), Bobby McDill (Melanie) and John McDill (Traci); his siblings, Bea Phillips, Dorothy Purvis (Edgar), Rick Lewis (Sandy) and Jim Lewis (Christine); and his grandchildren, Penny Pitts, BJ McDill, Emily Hardin, Cory McDill, Cheyenne Conner, Dakota Wilkerson, Maddie White, Hayes White and Myles White. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
