She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Edwards and Enus Simpson Edwards; the father of her children Carlmon Watts; her husband Shelby Taylor; her son Curtis Watts; her siblings, Cecil Edwards, Allen "Butcher" Edwards, Ruth Taylor, Lucille Watts and Ella Dee Martin; and her son-in-law Michael Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Wilma Mitchell, Tish Henderson (Donald) and Tommy Watts (Brenda); her grandchildren, Ivy Watts (Leslie), Laura Timmons (Michael) and Chris Henderson (Jennifer); her sister Lillie "Polly" Severio; and her great grandchildren, Ashlyn Watts, Emily Watts, Kadey Watts, Abbey Watts, Jaxon Shultz, Dawson Shultz, Bryan Timmons, Abel Timmons, Jessica Timmons, Julia Henderson and Charlotte Ruby Henderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
