She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Fremont and Helen Jeannette Middleton; her husband Joseph Arthur Matthews, Jr.; and her sons, William O. Matthews and Daniel Alton Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Matthews and Joellen Matthews Wilke; her grandson John Evan Matthews (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, John Kelly Matthews and Ada Jean Matthews.
