He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Levi Garrett and Edna Daughtry Garrett; his wife Ouida Gail Garrett; and his brothers, Douglas Garrett, Randel Garrett and Parker Lee Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Rev. Eric L. Garrett (Denise) of Joaquin, Sue Sue Boyett (Jeremy) of Logansport and Robert Marc Garrett of California; his grandchildren, Amanda Gibson, Hannah Gibson, Lisa Shamburger, Levi Manalli and Ainsley Boyett; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Elliana, Juliette, Garrett, Abigail, Cade, Emma, Jethro and Merrick; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Garrett and Pat Garrett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Logansport (1009 Gum St, Logansport, LA 71049). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at the O. E. Price Cemetery (2601 Old Mansfield Rd, Logansport, LA 71049).
