She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Giddens and Mary Giddens; her husband Howard E. Rushing; and her siblings, Linda F. Head, W. G., Donald Roy and Jerry Giddens.
She is survived by: her children, Mary E Rutherford, Terry W Rushing (Lisa), Michael R Rushing (Brenda) and Ronnie E Rushing (Bobbi Jo); her grandchildren, Melanie Hughes (Brad), Meredith Rogers (Kade), Tabitha King (Johnny), Colby Rushing (Jenna), Clinton Rushing (Kellie), Sabra Rushing, Leslie Brunner (Anthony), Lake Auvil, Caitlin Rushing, Alaina Rushing and Ashlynn Dowell (Christian); her great grandchildren, Mason, Brock Hughes (Emma), Kannon, Karson Rogers, Bailee, Jadyn King, Chance, Summer Rushing, Kaelynn, Cohen, Kenley Rushing, River Auvil, Addison, Emma Brunner and Lylah Dowell; and her brother Sammy Giddens (Frances). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Logansport (1009 Gum St, Logansport, LA 71049).
