He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Puls and Marie Gerstein Puls; his wife Sandy Mae Puls; his sons, Edwin "Eddie Boy" L. Puls Jr. and Louis Puls; and his siblings, Fred Puls, Elanor Fletcher and Ida Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Puls (Paula), Timothy Puls (Rocky), Jeffery Puls (Carol), Melinda Frandria (Joey) and Sandi Bailey (Chuckie); his stepdaughters, Jane E. Lee (Curtis) and Suzie Puls (Dwayne); and his daughter-in-law Stacy Puls. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
