He is survived by: his children, Chad Freeman, Rita Carpenter (Barry) and Renade Bergeron; his grandchildren, Heath Freeman, Kayla McGuffee (Ben), Barry Carpenter Jr. (Krystal), Mallorie-Paige Coleman (Keaton), Jon-Luke Carpenter, David LeBlanc, Jennifer Cousins and Shirley Riviere (Eric); his great grandchildren, Ethan, Kyle, Chloe McGuffee, Lillian and Ada Carpenter; and his siblings, George Thomas Freeman Jr., Susan Darlene Freeman McMillan, Steven Leon "Buster" Freeman and Dorothy Louise Freeman-Vigus. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
