He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Freeman Sr. and Mary Louise Stephenson Freeman; his son Randy George Freeman; and his brother Barry Freeman. He is survived by: his children, Chad Freeman, Rita Carpenter (Barry) and Renade Bergeron; his grandchildren, Heath Freeman, Kayla McGuffee (Ben), Barry Carpenter Jr. (Krystal), Mallorie-Paige Coleman (Keaton), Jon-Luke Carpenter, David LeBlanc, Jennifer Cousins and Shirley Riviere (Eric); his great grandchildren, Ethan, Kyle and Chloe McGuffee; and his siblings, George Thomas Freeman Jr., Susan Darlene Freeman McMillan, Steven Leon "Buster" Freeman and Dorothy Louise Freeman-Vigus. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
