It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert M. Babcock of Loranger, Louisiana, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Maurice Babcock and Georgianna Babcock; and his great grandchild Maverick Allison. He is survived by : his former life partner Virginia Ditta; his wife Virginia "Jenny" Babcock; his son Blaine Babcock (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Larry Gomien (Jennifer), Beau Lindy (Kayla), Taylor Babcock and Vivian Gangi (Anthony). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital and/or the Shriner's Hospital.
