He is survived by : his wife Janet Willie Adams; his children, Carolyn Reed (Jamie Reine), Arlene Holecomb (John Ellsworth) and Shelton Joseph Adam, Jr. (Amber Coyle); and his siblings, Eugene (Gracie), Edward, Paul (Debbie), Russel (Brenda), Michael, Rodney, Floyd, Robert (Odesa), Annabell Glover, Lou Ella Adams, Madeline Adams and Joyce Laverne. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
