He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelien Victor Tassin, Sr. and Rosalie Tamburello Tassin; his brothers, Phillip and Kenneth Tassin; and his son-in-law Jimmy Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Tastet Tassin; his children, Tammie Tassin Myers (Eric Smith) and Anthony Tassin (Lori); his grandchildren, Brandon Myers (Amanda), Jeremy Myers (Holly), Hayden Tassin (Hope) and Hayley Tassin (Corbyn Belgard); his great grandchildren, Colby, Derek Myers, Paisley, Addison and Parker Tassin; and his sisters, Joanne Caronna, Diann Tassin and Debra Waguespack (Stephen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church - Luling (234 Angus Dr, Luling, LA 70070). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Charles Cemetery (1279 Paul Maillard Rd, Luling, LA 70070).
