Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everal "Turk" Sampey and Doris Sampey; and his brothers, Harold Sampey and Floyd Sampey. He is survived by: his wife Abigail; his children, Rickie and Angelle; his grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Ava and Mya; and his sister Loretta Palm.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072).
