He was predeceased by : his parents, Horace Sr. Champagne and Mary Catherine Ford Champagne; his wife Marie Louise Matis Champagne; and his siblings, Pearl Somme-Laurent, Harold Champagne Sr., Morris Champagne, Alvin "Champ" Champagne, Johnny Champagne Sr., Jerry Champagne Sr. and Thomas Champagne.

He is survived by : his children, Brian Champagne (Amanda), Scott Champagne (Charity) and Angella Champagne (Brian Baio); his grandchildren, Brittani Corzo (Luis), Evan Champagne (Gavin Brehm), James Champagne, Adam Champagne, Seth Champagne (Kristin), Kaleb Champagne (Ava) and Quinn Champagne; his great grandchildren, Piper and Oliver Corzo; and his siblings, Bessie Champagne, Charles Champagne Sr., Ronald Champagne, David Champagne Sr., Anthony Champagne Sr. and Wayne "Catfish" Champagne.
