He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Russell Scott and Lillian Christine Scott; his wife Karla Scott; his children, Kelsey Scott and Joshua Benge (Rene); his grandchildren, Caleb Benge-Houser, Kamia Benge, Haven Benge and Jaden Benge; his sibling Jamie Scott Wilkinson; and his sibling's children, Jaci Morgan, Molly Bergeron and Matthew Morgan.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
