We announce the death of Naomi Ruth McBroom (Luling, Louisiana), who passed away on October 31, 2026, at the age of 94. Naomi will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin L. McBroom; her parents, Althea Trimble Kimmell and Russel Smith; her child Marvene McBroom Maher (John); and her nephew Paul.

She is survived by: her son Randy L. McBroom (Darla); her sister Patti Carter (Paul); her granddaughters, Meghan McBroom and Nichole Maher; and her nieces and nephews, Tammy (Scott), Adam (Erica), Mark (Ginger), Colton, Ashlyn, Max, Emma, Clara, Sarah (Jacob), Kaylee, Olga, Kathy, Dawn, Alisha (Angie), Stephanie (Terry) and Billy.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 3 Weinnig Dr, Luling, LA 70070.
