It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Octavia Aubert Bright of Lutcher, Louisiana, who passed away on August 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Aubert, Sr. and Hazel Garrison Aubert. She is survived by: her daughters, Trinette Joseph, Tracee Bright (Patrick Rouse) and Trishell Harper (Marcus); her siblings, Lilly Francis (Lynval), Jacqueline Michaels, Jennifer Thompson, Lloyd Jackson, Robert Aubert, Sr. (Sharon), Kenneth Aubert, Sr. (Melanie), Gerald Aubert, Alvin Aubert (Deanna) and Tremille Aubert (Chanel); her husband Raymond Bright; and her siblings, Claudia Robertson, Calvin and Louis Aubert, Jr.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
