With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Jude Dufour of Madisonville, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 2, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul John Dufour and Melba Bischof Dufour; and his brother Don Dufour. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Dickie" Franklin Dufour; his children, Darren Dufour (Maureen) and Reneé Long (Jason); his grandchildren, Daniel Dufour, Lily Dufour, Mason Tusa and Blaine Tusa; his siblings-in-law, John Franklin (Donna), Patty Franklin and Jeanne Dufour; his nephew Paul Dufour; and his friends, John Serio, Nancy and Terry McCarthy. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
