He was predeceased by: his sister Karen DeRosier (McBurney); and his parents, John Barrie and Marjorie May McBurney (Freyou). He is survived by: his wife Dawn Marie McBurney (Pumilia); and his daughters, Leanne Truehart (David), Susan McNicholl (Timothy) and Ashley Adams. He is also survived by his three grandsons; and a menagerie of granddogs and grandcats.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Anselm Catholic Church (306 St Mary St, Madisonville, LA 70447). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
