He is survived by: his daughter Emily Mendoza; his former wife Elise Rosato; his parents, James Hamilton Mendoza, Sr. and Catherine Markey Mendoza; and his siblings, James Mendoza, Jr. (Tricia) and Anna Mendoza Roth (Matt). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
