He is survived by: his wife Alma Cannon Gitz; his daughters, Gina Meyers (Ben) and Jennifer Barcelona (Paul); and his grandchildren, John Meyers and Evangeline Meyers. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anselm Catholic Church (306 St Mary St, Madisonville, LA 70447). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ray's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the St. Tammany Parish Humane Society.
