He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Richardson Fitzgerald; and his children, Tina Fitzgerald, Paul Fitzgerald (Tracy) and Jennifer F. Lambert (Cory). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Theodore Dendinger Cemetery.
