She was predeceased by : her parents, Jimmie Bergeron and Effie Bergeron Menier; her brothers, Larry Bergeron and Michael Douglas Bergeron; and her husband Paul Nathan Bazar, Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Nathaniel "Jamie" Berzas (Madeline) of Mamou, Stephan Berzas (Belinda) of Branch, Paul, Berzas, Jr. (Laurie) of Ville Platte, Jeannette Miller of Eunice, Jeanne Dischler (Karl) of Eunice, Ellen Guillory (Paul) of Mamou, Paula Berzas of Mamou, Elizabeth Kratzer of Mamou and Andrea Barnes (James) of Mamou; and her sister Diana Pierrotti of Mamou. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
