It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaynell Manuel of Mamou, Louisiana, born in Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anatole Dupre and Ovelia Roy Dupre; and her siblings, Winnie Mae Gobert, Margie Vidrine, Weston Dupre, L. D. Dupre, Norman Dupre, Anatole Dupre, Jr. and Weldon Fruge Dupre, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Manuel; her sons, James Guillory (Lisa) and Shannon Guillory; her grandchildren, Alissia Guillory, Christy Guillory, Samson Guillory, David Guillory, Dylan Guillory, Amber Hogg, Kenneth Soileau and Cameron Soileau; and her brothers, Glen Dupre (Caroline) and Berkman Dupre (Loretta). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
