He is survived by: his children, Christopher Paul Fontenot (Brooke LaFleur) of Vidrine, William Scott Fontenot (Katelyn) of Abbeville, Lauren Riggs (Jordan) of Denham Springs and Camille Gardner (Matthew) of Lafayette; his daughter-in-law Heidi Fontenot of Lafayette; his siblings, Daniel Fontenot of Eunice and Myra Fontenot of Conroe, TX; and his grandchildren, Silas Kane Fontenot (Chelsea Soileau), Emily Jade Barnes (William Barnes), Harley Ann Fontenot, Liam Troy Fontenot, Weston Blake Fontenot, Parker Wayne Fontenot, Thomas Allen Gardner, Evelyn James Riggs and Elise Andre Gardner.
