She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardiol Goodley, Sr. and Leze Ceasar Goodley; her son Jeran "Bobby" Thomas; the father of her children Julius Pete Thomas; and her siblings, Willis, Preston, Raymond, Ellis, Columbus, Ardiol Jr., Johnny Goodley, Eva Noel, Everlyn Poullard and Lorretta Ned.

She is survived by: her children, Ricky Thomas (Valerie) of Opelousas, Phyllis Fontenot (Ricky) of Mamou and Lisa Thomas Fontenot (Gregory) of Reddell; her grandchildren, Felicia Thomas, Angel Bradley, Brandon Fontenot, Megan Thibodeaux, Jeremy Thomas, Creshonda Thomas, Logan Thomas, Chloe Fontenot, Katie Thomas and Nicole Thomas; and her brothers, George Goodley (Obrey) and Wilford Goodley. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Her contributions to the church extended beyond attendance; she participated by singing in the choir and serving as a deaconess, mission sister, and prayer warrior.
