He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Fontenot and Anna Pitre Fontenot; and his brother Danny Fontenot. He is survived by: his wife Melissa "Missy" Fontenot; his children, Jordan Savoy (Samantha), Cade Fontenot (Sabrina) and Abbi Fontenot; his grandchildren, Kamryn Dupuis (Evan), Maddi Savoy, Jase Savoy, Gus Landreneau and Keegan Fontenot; his great grandchild CJ Dupuis; and his siblings, Mitch Fontenot (Pam) and Tammy Fontenot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (717 6th St, Mamou, LA 70554). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the New St. Ann Cemetery (1863 Old Hwy 13, Mamou, LA 70554).
