It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelia Barcia of Mandeville, Louisiana, born in New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mayard and Electa Mayard Sr.; her siblings, Mary Ruth Manning, Jeanette Vilardo, Edmar, Paul Jr., Wallace, Lewis, John Wayne and Jerry Mayard; and her grandson Jonathan Mumme.

She is survived by: her husband Alphonse Barcia, Jr.; her children, Kathleen Mumme (Mike) and Alphonse Barcia, III (Stacey); and her grandchildren, Justin, Benjamin Mumme, Austin, Aiden and Alby Barcia. She is also survived by 9 siblings, many loving nieces and nephews.
