Suffern, Sr. and Gladys Brennan Suffern; his siblings, Stuart Suffern and Anne Suffern Bernard; his great-nephew Timothy "Tripp" Verret Burns, III; his parents-in-law, Teresa Hand and James Hand; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Hoefeld, Ronald Hand and Thomas Hand; and his nephews-in-law, Timothy Hand, Michael Hand and Thomas Hand, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hand Suffern; his children, Megan Suffern Roy (Darren) and Edward "Trey" Suffern, III (Adrianna); his grandsons, Luke and Adam Roy; his siblings, Patrick Suffern (Monique), Laura Burns (Timothy), James Suffern (Kathryn), Meehan Murphy (Michael) and Matthew Suffern (Theresa); his sister-in-law Diana Suffern; and his extendeds, Teresa Hoefeld, James Hand (Lynne), Mary Jo Hand, Terrence Hand (Ursula), Mary Hand and Melissa Gleason. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
