It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Matthew Pecoraro Jr. of Mandeville, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Matthew Pecoraro Sr. and Mary Lucille Bankston Pecoraro. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald G. Pecoraro (Elizabeth) and Susan P. Davis (Bernie); his stepmother Sandra Pecoraro; his half-brothers, Nicholas Pecoraro and Matthew Pecoraro (Michelle); his nephew Adam Davis; and his niece Rebecca Davis. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
