He was predeceased by: his father John Ray Whitfield Sr.; and his sister Kelli. He is survived by: his mother Rita Brignac; his brothers, Robert Flanagan and Frank Flanagan Jr.; his sons, Justin (Kelli), Jakob (Amanda) and Eli; and his granddaughters, Zoey, Sophia and Aurora.
