He is survived by: his son Lt. Richard Cassanova (Renee Raymond Cassanova); his brother Edgar; his granddaughters, Suzannah (Douglas) and Briannah (Kevin); and his girlfriend Delores Fountain Materne. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
