She was predeceased by: her parents, Webb Kirkland and Luverne Kirkland; her daughter Cindy Lee Smith; and her brother Dennison Kirkland. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Jean Crawford (Guy), Viola Lou Estain, Edward Smith, Sharon Diane Smith (Janet) and Timothy Leroy Smith. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Honaker Funeral Home (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (22254 County Rd 6, Castleberry, AL 36432).
