She was predeceased by: her husband Carl E. Childress; her sister Kay Shiers; and her parents, Vernon Wilson and Marjorie Wilson. She is survived by: her son W. Childress (Rene) of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Dr. Taylar Childress of Baton Rouge, LA, AnnaMichael Adams (Brandon) of Alto, LA, Alexander McKeithen, Lorelei McKeithen and Lina Rose Adams; her brother Bill Wilson (Brenda); and her siblings-in-law, W. O. Shiers, Ronny Childress (Linda), Betty Romero (Larry) and Tina Fitzgerald. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
