He is survived by: his wife Frances Lum; his children, Kimberly Emmons (Alvin), Michelle Shipp (Mike), Harold "Bo" Lum Jr. (Jamie), Kemberly Cook and Kristy Mills; his grandchildren, Ethan Mauldin, Kacey Mauldin, Christopher Ferris, Megan Mills (Chris), Alandra Singson (Micah), Harlea Lum, Madison Shipp (Clay), Chase Shipp (Shelbi) and Cheyenne Shipp (Coby); and his great grandchildren, Emmeryson Ferris, Kaceton Chapman, Gracelynn Ferris, Whitley Ferris, Houston Ferris, Bennett Ferris, Ryder Mills, Riley McMillian, Jace McMillian, Adalynn Royals, Carston Jobe, Amora Descant and Ozyln Descant.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mangham First Assembly of God (115 Railroad Ave, Mangham, LA 71259). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (2412 US-425, Rayville, LA 71269).
