He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Nichols; his parents, Rhodell Nichols and Myrtle Nichols; his granddaughter Kimberly Stevens; his son-in-law James Britt; and his siblings, Theodore Nichols, Doug Nichols, Jeanetta Stuart, Mildred Hodges, Ruby Williams and Katie Hopson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Britt of West Monroe, Laurie Wiggins (Terry) of Mangham and Tammi Runyan (John) of Colcord, OK; his brother Jimmy Nichols of San Francisco, CA; his grandson Autrey Young (Ginger Powell); and his great grandchildren, Lindsey Thomas of West Monroe, Daniel Powell of Baton Rouge and Noah Powell of Simsboro.
