She was predeceased by: her parents, Eurtis Traxler Merchant and Earl Merchant. She is survived by: her husband J. L. Hendrix; her children, Daniel Hendrix (Mary) and Donna Hendrix (Iain); her granddaughter Morgan Hollis (Matthew); and her great grandchild Rosemary Hollis.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mangham Baptist Church (112 Church St, Mangham, LA 71259). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
