She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Moore and Lola Mae Moore; her former husband Melvin Green; her husband Glen Alexander; her children, Lance Alexander, Madeline Alexander and Melanie Alexander; and her grandson Paul Cramer.

She is survived by: her children, Gene Phillips (Melissa), Glenn Phillips (Denise), John Alexander (Cindy), Glenda Horne (Jason) and Aline Donnelly (Nick). She is also survived by Her family legacy continues through 22 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two more great-grandchildren on the way, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Mansfield (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
