He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Woodel and Ella Mae Nelms; and his siblings, Mary Louise Tyler, Edward and Eugene Woodel.
He is survived by: his wife Darline Woodel; his children, Reese Woodel (Julie) and Denise Hamil (Paul); his sister Mildred Leach; his grandchildren, Megan Whitaker (Gabriel), Andrew Hamil, Justin Woodel, Jared Woodel, Eric Springer (Jenna) and Jill Greenwood (Dylan); and his great grandchildren, Briella Whitaker, Lexi Greenwood and Matthew Greenwood. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
