He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Mae Wallace Cangelose and Charles Cangelose; his daughter Joyce Elaine Cangelose; his brother Sammy Cangelose; his brother-in-law Jamie Laffitte; and his niece Melanie Cangelose.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie Cooper Cangelose; his daughters, Paula Landry Cangelose and Laura L Cangelose; his granddaughter Jordan Wells Colson (Colby Colson); his great grandchildren, Alexander Ford and Aubry Colson; his sisters, Sheila Goodman (Danny) and Mary Laffitte; and his siblings-in-law, Tommie Cooper and Ella Cangelose.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the rebuilding fund for Beulah Baptist Church in Lula Community, Mansfield, Louisiana.
