She was predeceased by: her husband Printis Earl Murphy; her parents, Otto Harrison and Nora Harrison; and her sisters, Gladys Hazelton, Mildred Wilson, Ruth Heath, Laura Watson, Nora Meyers and Ruby Harrison.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Earl Murphy (Ken); her grandchildren, Daniel Harrison Murphy and Hayley Peterson Murphy; her great grandchild Bishop Kane Murphy; and her sister Anita Harrison VanOuwerkerk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (209 E 6th Ave, Oakdale, LA 71463).
