He was predeceased by: his wife Lou Ellen Ramie; and his mother Ruby Brown. He is survived by: his children, David Ramie, Darrin Ramie (Vickie) and Beth Guinn (Mike); and his grandchildren, Tiffanie Dunham, Amy Goodly, Josh Ramie, Emily Ramie, Sarah Burleigh and Preston Ramie. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
