She was predeceased by: her son Floyd Coleman; her grandchild Hercules (Rodgers); and her parents, Howard Thornton, Sr. and Addie Keller Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Donald Ray Coleman, Diane Marie Thornton, Joyce Mae Coleman and Doris Ann Coleman; her grandchildren, Herbert Lockwood, Devin Floyd Coleman, DeAndre Travon Coleman, Derrick Coleman and Donte'Courtney; her great grandchild Ayden Courtney; and her siblings, Edward Thornton Sr. and Louise Thornton Grigsby. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
