She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Brooks; her children, Phyllis "Susie" Brooks, Bridgette Brooks and Wendell Brooks; and her parents, Randolph Prier and Beulah Francisco Prier.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Belinda Isaac, D'wan Robertson, John Ezell Brooks and Calvin Brooks. She is also survived by six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
