He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Paul Lewing and Willie Mae Robinson Lewing of Many; his sister Paula Lewing Salter; his brother-in-law Sherman Salter; and his niece Lindsey Salter.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Webb Lewing; his daughter Kathryn Ann (Zach Early) of Many; his granddaughter Marissa Ann Herrington of Many; his sister Carolyn Strakele of Cape Cod, MA; his nieces, Megan Nichols and Amy Salter; his close friend Ricky McConnell, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Gavyn McConnell and Gynger McConnell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Lewing Chapel (982 W B Lewing Rd, Many, LA 71449). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
