She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Remedies and Selina Parrie Remedies; and her siblings, Glen Dale Remedies and Virginia Ann Remedies. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Stewart of Zwolle, Louisiana; her children, Monica McManus of Zwolle, Melanie Small of Zwolle, Mindy Sepulvado of Zwolle, Louisiana and Dustin Ezernack (Caitlyn Alford) of Zwolle Louisiana; her stepchildren, Clyde Stewart (Laura) of Noble, Louisiana and Tia Stewart (Donny Joe Torres) of Zwolle, Louisiana; her siblings, Joseph "Sucker" Parrie (Christine) of Zwolle, Robert Parrie of Zwolle, Johnny "Hodge" Remedies (Jackie) of Noble, Louisiana and Carolyn Foster of Zwolle, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Corey Small, Brittany Small, Kyle McManus, Austin Sepulvado, Kaleb McManus, Brooklyn Lambert, Alex Sepulvado, Brianna Lambert, Kaden McManus, Brayden Ezernack, Paysli Koss, Alaina Stewart and Kara Mieseler; her great grandchildren, Casin, Bonnie, Colt, Alaia, Brynleigh, Malani, Raelyn, Noah, Adleigh, Jayden, Adrianna and Gunner; her cousin Eva "Pig" Ross; her aunt Bea Parrie; and her niece April Stewart.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Many (9891 Texas Hwy, Many, LA 71449). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (307 Hammond St, Zwolle, LA 71486). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Desoto Regional Cancer Center.
