He is survived by: his daughters, Cassie Remedies (Omar) and Sandy Meshell; his sisters, Karen "Tiny" Parrie (Patrick) and Mary Parrie (Raymond "Mutty"); and his grandchildren, Alijah Remedies (Kaylei), Destiny Jackson, Aaron Tarpley and Austin Tarpley. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Many (9891 Texas Hwy, Many, LA 71449). A rosary was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (307 Hammond St, Zwolle, LA 71486). A burial was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery (307 Hammond St, Zwolle, LA 71486).
